The guys at station 19 are the best. My father would have been so proud of what the guys had done for him and his family. It touched our families hearts so much to see that he had alot of fire fighter brothers n sisters who cared so much... The Family wishes to thank each and everyone of them... The funeral was so perfect in every detail. To see the ladders crossed and the flag hanging... It was so very touching.. They out did themselves... THANK YOU SO MUCH.... You guys all heros in my book... | |

Thank you to all of you at station No.19. James Kuser was my grandfather. He was a great grandfather and he was always deticating his time to the firehouse. As my sister said he was always quizing us on fire safty. he will never be forgotten. thank you all again... | |

We are sorry to hear about the loss of this very special firefighter. It's almost inconceivable to young people today that somebody would devote his entire adult life to selflessly volunteering to protect the lives of those in his community and beyond. Mr. Kuser is the very definition of the term 'unsung hero', as are all his 'brothers' and 'sisters'. May he rest in peace.

James was my grandfather,Thank you to all for the condolences and all that Station No.19 is doing for our family, I and the rest of the family really appreciate it. The firehouse was a huge part of his life, I know when my sister and I were little Pappy was always quizing us on fire safety. He is missed and loved by so many. Thank you again for everything the fire companies are doing. <3

The Bridgeport Fire Dept. will be hosting a social & KME apparatus display on Friday, Sept. 25th from 6:30 to 9:30pm.
